REAL ESTATE NEWS | VAIL & BEAVER CREEK
Happy Holidays!
November proved to be quieter after three consecutive months of the market outperforming 2022 numbers.
As expected, more resort properties are coming to market in expectation of a busy winter season while the local market slows during the holidays and early winter in anticipation of the spring season. That said, inventory levels for December are at their highest since 2020 and market activity continues to impress for homes in good condition and priced to the market.
Projections for 2024 are positive as many economists expect interest rates to slowly come down, making homeownership more accessible to those in the market to buy. Lower rates are also likely to free-up inventory as homeowners consider shifting out of their properties (and mortgages) into more desirable homes and/or locations.
Beyond the market, the early season snow has been great! The valley has transformed for the holidays and there is excitement in the air. It is a special time of year and I hope you are able to enjoy all the activities, events, and recreational opportunities our area has to offer.
