Inventory Up 53% as Buyers Come to the Market
The unofficial start to summer – Memorial Day weekend and the GoPro Games – have come and gone and although we may still experience a snow shower or two in the coming months, the valley has come alive with activity and warmer temperatures. Rivers are approaching their peak flows with abundant runoff from the winter snow, golf courses are teeming with activity, and trails are being utilized by hikers and bikers. All our favorite recreational activities, combined with the start of the Bravo! music series and a myriad of other events and we are excited to welcome the warmer days and cool evenings back!
This is also our busiest season for real estate sales. Inventory continues to grow with available homes increasing 53% compared to a year ago. Abundant options in most price ranges and communities means it is an ideal time if you are a current home buyer in Eagle County. What the inventory increase also highlights is the importance of judicious pricing for sellers looking to make a move. With interest rates still elevated, buyers are more critical than ever and listening to the market (and your broker) is important to determine where to position your home for its best success in attracting buyers.
New projects continue to crop-up, from new townhomes in Vail Village to condominiums in Avon, and one of the valley’s most-anticipated residential communities in Eagle. New construction remains attractive to buyers and often commands a premium price in today’s market. Bravo! Vail has evolved from a small chamber music series to an international music festival with dozens of performances throughout Eagle County, and summer home to the world’s greatest musicians and orchestras.

2025 marks the 28th anniversary of the Minturn market, hosted by the Town of Minturn. Showcasing a variety of local products – food trucks, fresh produce, baked goods, art & pottery, clothing & jewelry, pet products and much more!

For many years the ShowDown Town has brought the community together with fun and free music for everyone all summer long! ShowDown Town concerts take place in Eagle Town Park in Eagle, CO
June 27th – 28th
In 1922 the County Seat was stolen from Red Cliff and moved to Eagle, CO. Since then this event has celebrated the “relocation” with activities including a parade, free kids zone, and live music!
July 3rd | 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Join the Town of Gypsum for an Independence Day Celebration with live music FREE hot dogs and popsicles (while supplies last) from the Town Council, lawn games, and of course FIREWORKS.
